Bronxville vs Scarsdale

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hey I’ve been following this group for a while and reading up on the ins and outs of Westchester..Im currently a city person, 60 yrs old, work in midtown, and would like to move to a lower Westchester town that is walkable ( I don’t have a car, at least currently) I’ve looked at a few coops in Scarsdale but have traveled up to see Bronxville coops more times and I like the town vibe and area…<br/> Can anyone tell me are the towns similar enough or is Bronxville just better? It seems like better restaurants and the grocery store is close to the train…I’m still considering Brooklyn too but it’s more expensive, dirtier and a ton of dog poop on every sidewalk anywhere in the borough..so currently leaning towards westchester..I also looked at some inwood apts but the commute sucked and the apts aren’t as nice …<br/> Please let me know if there is just a much better town if you’re car-less, and are people friendly enough or snobby..?
