Flat nature walk recommendations

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi all! I hope it’s okay to ask this here. I’m a Brit who has an American fiancé, and I visit a few times a year. He is originally from Larchmont, but moved away from the area for a while so isn’t very familiar with where everything is. </p> <p>In summer we love to go to Gilgo Beach, but that’s quite a ways away. We’d love to start going walking more, travel time is absolutely fine with us, and check out some more places. The only catch is, I’m disabled and although I can get around okay with a walking stick I need a relatively flat route. I can manage a small hill here and there but nothing steep or for a prolonged period of time. </p> <p>I thought it would be worth asking the people of Westchester if you have any places you could recommend. We love being in nature, I’m from a very small rural town so city life isn’t my kind of thing. We love lots of greenery and animals, I’ve always wanted to find a small farm that allows visitors, I believe you call them petting zoo’s? We haven’t found one yet but I’m hoping maybe this summer.</p> <p>Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
