Moving to white plains from Poughkeepsie

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I currently lived in Poughkeepsie for the last 3 years since that is where my job is located. My apartment is really nice (and not cheap) but socially it has sucked for me since I have basically no social life here or friends. All of my friends are in nyc since that is where I grew up. I was thinking about trying something new and moving to White plains where I would commute to Poughkeepsie 2-3 times a week. One of the factors I’m looking for is a young Jewish population (I’m culturally Jewish not very religious) since I’m in my 20’s and single. Coming from someone who has lived in nyc and Poughkeepsie, is White plains a good option?
