What to expect
26.2 miles of crushed-stone trail along the original 1842 aqueduct from the Old Croton Dam to the Bronx. Connects every major Rivertowns Metro-North station — the county's most useful non-car recreational infrastructure. Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct leads seasonal guided walks and educational programs. (Rolling: Year-round; guided walks spring through fall — monitor the source for specific dates.)
