Right now, it’s being held up by what amounts to a makeshift, tree-as-support “solution.”</p> <p>Let’s be clear about the risk:</p> <p>If that wall fails, it could block the drainage culvert under Gramatan Avenue, trigger serious flooding across entire neighborhoods during a storm, and potentially injure or kill anyone walking below it.</p> <p>What was the response?</p> <p>One sentence from the Building Commissioner. Silence from the City Engineer. Silence from DPW.</p> <p>Now, nearly 8 months later—what has been done about this obvious, escalating danger?</p> <p>Nothing.</p> <p>This is not neglect.
