Chappaqua is a quieter I-684 corridor village, the Metro-North Harlem Line stop at the downtown, Grand Central about 55 minutes off-peak. The downtown footprint is compact, a handful of restaurants and coffee rooms, the kind of Main Street that reads weeknight-only. Licensed cannabis retail is not in Chappaqua itself: New Castle, the town that includes it, opted out, and residents shop south in White Plains or west in Ossining. Verify licensed status via the OCM QR code at cannabis.ny.gov, and keep products in locked storage in any house with kids. Consumption stays private-property across the town.
