Port Chester runs at a different tempo than the Sound Shore villages south of it. The Capitol Theatre has been one of the region's better mid-size music rooms for decades, the restaurant row between Main and Willett packs an unusual density for a Westchester village, and the weekend night-out crowd pulls from Rye, Harrison, and across the Connecticut line. Port Chester opted out of adult-use cannabis retail, so there is no licensed dispensary in the village; the closest licensed shops are in White Plains and New Rochelle.
