Dobbs Ferry
Rivertowns dining density, the Old Croton Aqueduct on its spine, and a village that punches above its size on the restaurant map.
Dobbs Ferry has quietly become one of the denser restaurant blocks in the lower Hudson Valley. Half Moon, Sam's, a handful of ramen and pasta rooms, and the Old Croton Aqueduct trail running right through the village keep the walking-village feel sharp. Commute to Grand Central is 35 minutes on the Hudson Line. The cannabis-aware dinner-out template here works, a low-dose edible 45 minutes before an 8pm table, a THC seltzer at home instead of a pre-dinner glass of wine. The aqueduct is state parkland, so consumption is private-property only through the village.
