Pound Ridge sits in the northeastern corner of Westchester, the Connecticut line to the east, the Westchester Wilderness Walk and the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation inside the town footprint. The scale is deeply rural by Westchester standards, low-density residential, old stone walls, a few restaurants clustered near the town center. Licensed retail up here is thin, so verify any shop via the OCM QR code at cannabis.ny.gov before buying, and remember cannabis can't legally cross the Connecticut line in either direction. The reservation is county parkland, and New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces. Consumption stays private-property across the town.
