Sleepy Hollow peaks hard every October, Philipsburg Manor's Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze and Horseman's Hollow pull regional crowds, and the Old Dutch Church and burying ground carry the year-round Washington Irving gravity. The rest of the calendar runs quieter, Kykuit tours, the Rockefeller State Park Preserve trail network, and a handful of main street rooms. Licensed retail serves Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown alike; buy licensed and keep purchases sealed. New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces, and that covers the preserve, the historic sites and the Blaze grounds.
